# Project

From scriptwriting to creative distribution and data analysis, you can tailor various feature tabs to each project based on your business needs.

Projects offer the flexibility to segment your marketing strategies, whether by different promotional timelines, creative directions, or specific products (SKUs). For streamlined management and comparison of marketing efforts, you can group multiple projects into a [portfolio](/en-us/fundamentals/portfolio.md).

**To create a new project:**

1. Click the "**+"** button;
2. Select "**New project".**

A new screen will present you with 2 options: create a "**Blank project "or "Use a template".**

Click "**Blank project"** to start from scratch.

In organizations, you must belong to a [team](/en-us/fundamentals/team.md) before creating a project.

2. Select the team you wish to add the project to;
3. Set your project privacy settings;
4. Select "[Script](/en-us/product-guides/script.md)", "[Media review](/en-us/product-guides/media-review.md)", "[Creative"](/en-us/product-guides/creative.md), or "[Reporting](/en-us/product-guides/reporting.md)" to start with;
5. Click "**Create project"** once the details have been added.
