# Start with a speaking script

Speaking script is better suited for relatively simple videos that do not require extensive detailing for each scene.

### To start with a speaking script:

1. Click the "**Add script**", and start with a speaking script;

2. Type "**/**" on your keyboard and add components to your script;

   * Add images and videos to your script;

3. When you start to write, select the text and change your script layout anytime;

   * You can add different headings, bold the font, add underline, strike, link, change the text color, and [comment](/en-us/product-guides/script/comment-on-script.md);

4. Click "**New script**" to create slightly different scripts separated by the divider under one single script task;

   * The [editor](/en-us/fundamentals/project/project-permission.md) can determine which script should be kept or scraped;

5. At the end, you can add your preferred ad platform, social media, video aspect ratio, and product information to tailor your script to the designed distribution platform and format;

   * If you can't find related product information from the CreatiBI library, you can create one;
